Accessibility

We want every patient to be able to use this site and our shop.

Our commitment

We built this website aiming at the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a box to tick.

What we have done

  • Keyboard access throughout, with visible focus outlines on every interactive element.
  • Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate structure.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative artwork is hidden from assistive tech.
  • Colour combinations chosen and checked for contrast, with no information carried by colour alone.
  • Full support for prefers-reduced-motion — every animation on the site, including the hero, stops when your system asks for less motion.
  • Touch targets sized for real fingers, and layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling.

In the shop

Ground-floor entry with no steps, a level lot close to the door, and staff glad to help. If it is easier for you, let us know when you arrive and we will come out to you.
