Union, Newton County
From the County Line to Forest
Union's spot is unusual: it sits right on the Newton–Neshoba county line, so the drive doesn't start in the middle of one county, it starts at the boundary of two. Heading south-west, the route carries you off that county line and down toward the interstate corridor, where Forest sits along I-20 in Scott County. Twenty-five miles covers that whole run, line to town, and at 35 minutes it's a drive that never turns into a long haul — county line at the start, interstate corridor at the finish.
At 35 minutes, this is a planned errand, not a passing stop, so bring what the trip requires: your MMCP patient or caregiver card, since Mississippi's program doesn't recognize out-of-state cards. There's an ATM on site if you need it, and a first visit comes with 30% off — worth confirming before you go, given the drive.
